If you don't quite understand the debt ceiling problem even now, I'll explain.
The debt ceiling can be raised no matter what. Just raise it. The Republicans, then later on agreed by everyone (and by everyone I just mean those politician folk), have tied the debt ceiling with the need to reduce the deficit. There really is no link between the two and the only reason why there is now is because people agreed that there is one. Makes sense right?
Just raise the debt ceiling. Quit foolin' around.
